Class of 2018 Graduation Showcase
Every year, students at Austin Center for Design immerse themselves in wicked problems for a 24-week capstone project. They begin by conducting qualitative research and synthesizing data to identify patterns and insights. The research then served as foundation for designing and developing new concepts for various problem space.
For the class of 2018, in partnership with the City of Austin Innovation Office, the broad topic of Civic Engagement in Austin has been identified as the area for students to explore.
On Thursday April 26, 2018, the students presented their concepts to the larger community in Austin. The room was full of journalists, social workers, educators, entrepreneurs, and many others. We look forward to continue the conversations and build upon this work in our next cohort.
